Liander has offered you a smart meter. We have not yet been able to fit this. It may be that you do not want the smart meter indicated. Or you were not at home when we wanted to change the meter. On this page we explain what this means.

Day and night power tariff? Then you need a smart meter.

Do you use day and night power? Or would you like to use the dual tariff in the future? It will soon only be possible to do this with a smart meter. Due to changes in technology in the future the ‘ordinary’ electricity meters will no longer be able to measure the dual tariff. Your energy supplier will then not be able to take into account the difference between the day and night tariff. With the smart meter this can however be done.

Would you still like the free smart meter?

Would you still like a smart meter? You can. If you contact Dynniq within 4 weeks, we can make a new appointment with you. This can then be done easily:

  • Via the internet:, use the log-in code in your letter 
  • By telephone: 024 351 13 77, on working days between 08:00 and 20:00 hours

If we do not receive a request from you to fit the smart meter within 4 weeks, then we will finally record that you do not want a smart meter. If you then later choose to have a smart meter, we will charge an amount of € 72.60 for this.
