Liander is your network operator. We are working to develop an energy network that meets everyone’s needs – now and in the future. We’ll be visiting you shortly to inspect your energy connection. You can read more about this in this letter.

We want to prevent future faults

That’s why we are inspecting your electricity cable and/or gas pipe to see if any maintenance is needed. This will make it possible to prevent future faults and allow you to carry on using electricity and gas safely.

What does the inspection involve?

We will be inspecting the cable/pipe from the road into your meter box. That means we will need to excavate in front of your property and in the street. We will make every effort to ensure this work is carried out carefully. If we need to remove any paving or plants, we will put everything back and leave it in presentable condition after completing the work. Inside your property the inspection is easier to carry out. We will only need to examine the cables and pipes in your meter box and possibly your crawl space.

Liander has outsourced the inspection to the company <naam aannemer>. An employee of <naam aannemer> will be contacting you shortly to arrange an appointment. The engineer who visits you will be able to provide proof of identity at any time. Please just ask to see it.

Your property will remain accessible and you can carry on using gas and electricity as normal

During the work your property will remain accessible. You will be able to carry on using electricity and/or gas while the inspections are in progress.
