Date for upgrading your energy meters

Appointment smart meter

We recently sent you a letter in which we offered to upgrade your electricity and gas meters at a time that suits you. We have asked an engineer of our contractor BAM to install the smart meters on the date that’s in the letter.

Confirm of reschedule your appointment

For planning purposes it is important to know in advance if you will be at home. You can easily confirm or reschedule the appointment via

  • Online: Go to www.slimmeafspraak.nl and use the login code that’s in the letter.
  • Telephone: Call 085 808 00 13 between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. on weekdays.
  • E-mail: Send your name, address and telephone number to slimmeafspraak@bam.com and we will get in touch.

Please also leave your contact details. We can then send a reminder in advance and, if necessary, contact you about the appointment. The appointment can be changed up to 36 hours before the scheduled date.

The engineer will need around one hour (in some cases two hours) to carry out the work. Please ask the engineer to show you his/her Liander ID card.

Are you renting the property?

If you yourself have a contract with an energy supplier, and as a result automatically with us as grid manager, then you as tenant can decide yourself whether to have the new energy meters fitted. If this is not the case, then please consult the landlord of the building.

Good to know

  • Smart meters are currently being installed free of charge. What if you decide to wait until later to have your smart meters installed? That’s not a problem, but in that case you will have to pay a charge of € 72.60.
  • Do you use day-rate and night-rate electricity and therefore pay a dual rate? In future this will only be possible if you have smart meters.

Do you have any further questions?

Call BAM on 085 808 00 13 between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. on weekdays. BAM’s employees will be happy to answer your questions.
